If you are building a property or renovating the you should definitely consider concealed blinds. This involves installing an aluminium box before plastering in to the top of the recess or into the ceiling. Once the box has been installed then the ceiling or top of the recess can be plastered up to the box.
The box allows motorised blinds to fit in to it. Once the blinds have been installed in to the box then a fascia plate is used to cover the box which seamlessly finished in level with the plaster. The blinds can come down through an open slot in the fascia covering the window or they can retract in to the box making them completely disappear when they are not in use.
