Tracks and Poles
This question often arises, do we need a track or a pole? See below to help you answer this mystery:
Aesthetic
Poles by far are more aesthetically pleasing to look at compared to tracks.
Poles can come in a range of diameters, available in different designs from distressed woods to polished metals. To enhance poles further, there are a choice of finials (pole ends) to pick, from glamorous crystal balls to sleek flat finishes. If you want to show the curtain off then poles are an excellent choice.
Tracks on the other hand are also available in different colours but are more simple in aesthetics. They are not made to stand out, instead they are a more practical option as you will read in the next section.

Practicality
Tracks are by far much more practical than poles. The gliding function on a track makes it much easier to draw a curtain open and closed. On the other hand, curtains on poles often have to be tugged across making it a little bit more difficult.
Do you want it aesthetic and practical?
Some genius came up with the idea of inserting a track in to a pole giving clients the best of both worlds. The aesthetic look of a pole along with the easily being able to glide the curtains.
