Roof lanterns and glazed skylights are becoming increasingly popular in living areas and orangeries. As fantastic as they look, they do cause the issue of excess heat in summer as well as glare of TV screens.

We offer two fantastic shading solutions for these spaces:

  1. Zipped roller blinds (click this link for more information)
  2. Pleated blinds

Zipped roller blinds

This range of roof lantern blind stops the light from coming through the fabric using blackout material but, unlike normal free hanging roller blinds it will also stop light from bleeding around the fabric. This is achieved by slotting the fabric in to side channels which on most occasions will stop 99% of the light coming in to the room.

As well as blackout fabric, light filtering fabric and screen fabric could also be used to allow in the natural light whilst stopping the beam of the sun making living areas much more comfortable to use,
